It was the odd hours of the night, the cemetery was foggy and erie as always. But tonight,
the scent of the cemetery carried mold and blood.
At the far end of the cemetery grounds sits a coffin house for the coffins of priests, or
important people to the small town. Sitting infront of the coffin house was a teenage girl, no
more than fifteen. She had a doll face with a peircing on her lip and one at the end of her right

I've got pockets full of blood,
a purse jingling with rust,
and hands that no longer give a damn.
I'm made of more mistakes than most.
I grew up so fast;

He shouldn't have been promising he'd protect me, not when he was supposed to dedicate his life to protecting Moroi like Lissa. I couldn't be first in his heart, just like he couldn't be first in mine. That's why I shouldn't have said what I did next but I did anyway.
"And I won't let anything happen to you," I promised. "I love you." He kissed me again, swallowing off any other words I might have sa
