Stained Pain

Bruises fade,
and cuts will bleed.
love from you? i'll never need.
emotional scars never go away,
though i've always dreamed of the day.
when you would calm down
and say sorry.

ink stains this page,
hate stains your heart,
blood stains my skin,
pain stains my eyes.

the bones you break inside my limbs dont hurt as much
as the dreams you break inside mt heart.

sticks and stones can break my bones, but words can never hurt me.
but the words that you scream at me still sting.
